Neurekalab is a spin-off born from the University of Barcelona and the University of Vic that combines research, artificial intelligence, and gamification to early detect both learning difficulties and giftedness.
“Artificial intelligence allows us to predict, starting from the first weeks of the school year, the outcome of an individual assessment for each student, without needing an adult next to each one,” explains Sergi Grau, co-founder and CEO of Neurekalab.
Since its creation in 2019, Neurekalab has scientifically validated its tools, demonstrating that its tests are as reliable as traditional psychological tests and that its interventions can triple the performance of students with dyslexia or dyscalculia in just four months. Its current goal is to bring this technology to all schools and also to social services, so that no child goes undetected or unsupported, regardless of their context.
